										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The<strong> cartridge filter collector on trolley MFC11</strong> is designed to filter pollutants deriving from dust cleaning, grinding, sanding and processing.</p>
<p>Main features of this collector are: high filtering capacity, maximum efficiency, ease of use, small space requirement considering its filtering surface, self-cleaning system, electric panel, cable and plug, ready to be used.</p>
<p><strong>Structure</strong></p>
<p>MFC11 collector consists in self-supporting panels of sturdy galvanized steel, processed by numerically controlled punching machine and pressformed by 6-axis bender. All panels are trimmed with silicone sealant and bolted together with high-strength bolts.<br />
The central body contains the real filtering heart of the machine: cartridged and tank.<br />
On the aspiration side, it is possible to make <strong>opens (upon request)</strong> to connect flexible pipes or a self-supported arm.</p>
<p><strong>Filtering cartridges</strong> are made of polyester fabric (antistatic upon request), produced using a spunbonded procedure which ensures no variation on air permeability and allows greater filtering efficiency and high stability. Electrical conductivity on the fabric surface is obtained thanks to aluminium powder application, which mantains the fabric porous.<br />
This kind of process is suitable to remove electric charges given by powders to be filtered, and by them transmitted to the filter media.<br />
<strong>Cartridges&#8217; self-cleaning system</strong> consists in compressed air backwash. It is a totally automized system, equipped with storage tank.</p>

<td style="width: 72.2094%;">Valves are of anodized cast aluminum and are suit of bulkhead fitting totally in stainless steel. The membrane is instead of special rubberized canvas marked by very high mechanical resistance. Tank is equipped with threaded connection fittings for power supply, lower connectors with condensate drain pipe.<br />
<strong>Cartridge access</strong> door on the top of the collector eases cleaning and maintenances. The door is a press-formed panel closing with sealing gasket.</p>
<p>The integrated electric aspirator is specifically designed and it is made up of directly coupled engine and impeller. In its upper part, there is the air exhaust open with rectangular outlet suitable to connect a pipe (available on request). Powders are extracted through a hopper and collected in the drawer, or in a plastic bag, located in the lower part container (optional).</p>
<p>Cartridge filter collector MFC11 on trolley is delivered equipped with <strong>automatic circuit breaker</strong> to control aspiration and wheels.</p>

<p>Nowadays, <strong>active carbons</strong> are employed in many fields to deodorize and abate solvents:</p>

<li>fiberglass workings</li>
<li>printings and serigraphs</li>
<li>waste and food sectors</li>

<li>filtration of organical solvents, sulfur compounds, etc.</li>

<p>Air flow needs always to be mechanically pre-filtered and only later treated with active carbons, so to make carbons&#8217; life longer.<br />
Active carbons filters designed by Gamma impianti are sized considering contact time between air and absorbent material, which cannot be under specific thresholds dictated by laws.</p>

</strong></p>
<p>Extraction of welding <a href="https://www.gammaimpianti.com/impianti-aspirazione-polveri-conoscere-valutare-lambiente-lavoro/">fumes</a> and polishing powders produced during metal workings, by capturing them as close as possible to the polluting source as required by the law.</p>
<p><strong>Problem</strong></p>
<p>The customer asks for a powder extraction system capable to grant <strong>flexibility of work</strong>, taking into consideration that welding and grinding stations sometimes work at 30% of their potential. Hence, it is needed a system working in efficiency in a range of capacity from 29000 mc/h down to the decrease wanted, with no electrical power waste.<br />
Technically, the challenge consists in aspire correctly powders from polishing stations, which scatter micropowders quickly and not easy to catch with classical systems as suction arms and hoods.</p>
<p><strong>Solution  </strong></p>
<p>A customized pinpoint <a href="https://www.gammaimpianti.com/i/impianti-di-aspirazione-industriale/">extraction system</a> with fumes and polishing powders capture on each working station has been designed and installed through suctions walls with side and upper containments to optimize their capacity.<br />
Welding fumes problem has been solved with articulated suction arms diam.160mm equipped with arm extenders to enlarge the working area.<br />
All extraction stations are connected through a network of galvanized circular section steel pipe, which also reaches a <a href="https://www.gammaimpianti.com/?p=1551">cartridge filter</a> with centrifugal fan with simple inlet located outside the production building. An electrical panel in compliance with Industry 4.0, with inverter and pressure reading, controls actual extraction capacity within pipes, so to control also power employed by the fan and reach maximum <strong>energy saving</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Design and development<br />
</strong></p>
<p>A customized design of an extraction system like this involves an analysis of plant’s productive needs and layout. Afterwards, our Technical Department develops the project, in this case it consists in:</p>
<ul>
<li>Air flow speed measurement, both during extraction and pipe-crossing.</li>
<li>Calculation of the total pressure losses depending on the filter piping path used.</li>
<li>Selection of suction walls, benches and arms, so to facilitate operators during their job and, at the same time, capture fumes and powder as close as possible to their source.</li>
<li>Design and production of special fixtures customized on the plant setting.</li>
<li>Filter and fan sizing, taking into account the total capacity of the plant and pressure drop of systems connected to it.</li>
<li>4.0 electrical panel designed to control the entire system, including automized fan-speed managent with inverter. This modifies in real-time capacity according to how many stations are actually working. All this to reach maximum energy saving.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>System in compliance with Industry 4.0<br />
</strong></h4>
<p>A powder extraction system, to be in compliance with Industry 4.0, must be controlled by computerized systems or managed via sensors and drives. In this specific case, the following features has been implemented, <strong>allowing the customer to deduct 50% of the total cost</strong>.</p>
<ul>
<li>automized <a href="https://www.gammaimpianti.com/impianti-di-aspirazione-ventilatori/">fan</a>-speed control with inverter, so to reduce current consuption when needed.</li>
<li>control on <a href="https://www.gammaimpianti.com/filtri-a-cartucce-per-fumi-e-polveri-ottimi-risultati-in-poco-spazio-occupato/">filter clogging</a> level through real-time warning via e-mail, sent to the maintenance service.</li>
<li>remote and optimized integrated systems management, with anomaly warning.</li>
<li>anomaly and threshold levels control and warning of each sensors of the system, like rotary air locks, discharge screw or fire sensors.</li>

<p>To grant flexibility and <strong>energy saving,</strong> an inverter system with pressure reading within ducts controls the aspiration capacity of the system and the power used by the fan.</p>
<p><strong>Research &amp; Development<br />
</strong></p>
<p>Customized design of a centralized extraction system with pinpoint uptake involves an analysis of plant’s productive needs and layout. Afterwards, our Technical Department develops the extraction system project, consisting in:</p>
<ul>
<li>Sizing of the correct air speed both during capture of fumes and crossing the extraction channels with the consequent calculation of the total pressure losses, depending on the piping path used.</li>
<li>Selection of the extraction arm and its related extender, so as to ease the welder’s work and, at the same time, capture fumes as close as possible to their source.</li>
<li>Using different types of extraction hoods on the articulated arms, depending on the work to carry out and therefore on the capacity needs.</li>
<li>Selection of the fixing points of piping and arms in the production room, with subsequent development of customized brackets.</li>
<li>Selection of the simple extraction centrifugal fan by considering the overall plant capacity and the load losses of the systems connected to it.</li>
<li>Design of the general electrical panel board for plant control, including automatic adjustment of fan revolutions with inverter system, that changes the work capacity real time depending on the actual number of workstations used, for the maximum of energy saving.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Industry 4.0 tax credit<br />
</strong></p>
<p>Our welding fumes extraction system are designed and built with technology 4.0, so to benefit of 50% tax credit along the entire 2021.</p>

<p>Grinding processes expose operators and the environment they work in to fumes and dust potentially harmful because of their smaller grain size. Furthermore, <strong>grinding powder</strong> can damage machines and electronic devices within the workshop.<br />
These problems can be solved by a properly dimensioned extraction plant. Grinding powder may disperse and settle down in every corner of the working area. For this reason, it is necessary to extract powders before they reach the operator, in order to prevent his/her and machines contamination.</p>
<p><strong>Solutions: extraction systems for grinding and polishing</strong></p>
<p>Grinding and polishing produce <strong>fine powder with small grain size and high volatility</strong>, besides normal metal remainings falling on the floor.<br />
To extract harmful powder, normally operators have at heir disposal an extraction booth in front of their stations so to leverage rotational tools dynamic. But when pieces to be worked are tiny, the best solution to protect the operators is to extract fumes directly from the plan and the frontal they are working on (whatch the video, here) so to not disperse powder in the environment.<br />
All this is possible with a suction bench for fumes and dust connected to the extraction system or independent and equipped with fan and filters.</p>
<p><strong>Know applications and measure safety needs</strong></p>
<p>Suitable gear for fumes capture, filtering mode and personal protections depend on the materials you need to work and on your productive layout. Hence, it is important to analyze the situation together with your safety manager.<br />
The main goal of a centralized extraction system is to direct all pollutants in a unique industrial purifier, normally located outside the building, near to the fan and fireplace of emissions in atmosphere, so to optimize space and maintenance works.<br />
Purifier employes a static polyester cartridge filter water- and oil- repellent specifically designed for fumes and dust from mixed metal workings, or a bag filter when a high-filtering surface is needed.</p>
