Extraction of mastic sealant steams

Extraction of fumes produced during the application of mastic sealants in the context of automotive components manufacturing. The goal is the protection of the operators with a safety system.

Solution

Centralized extraction plant for capturing steams directly from above machinery and optical unit lines.
Caption is carried out directly in the pump area and in the robot-guided application area.

Design

Sizing of the exact speeds of the air flow, both during caption of pollutants and within the extraction ducts, with consequent calculation of total load losses depending on the path.

The simple extraction centrifugal fan has been selected by taking into consideration the overall plant capacity and the load losses of the connected systems.
