Design and implementation of the air extraction and purification plant from the paint preparation room for the production of automotive parts.
During the preparation operation airborne polluting fumes are released.
Design and manufacture
The extraction was achieved timely from the inside and stainless steel cabinet intended to contain drums on a safety mat.
In normal operation the extracted air is sent to the combustor.
On opening of the drums containment cabinet, the extraction of fumes is activated automatically through the activated carbon purifier that recirculates the entire capacity.
In this way, it is avoided that the pollutants are dispersed in the workplace.
The design has involved the sizing of the correct speeds of the air to be captured and crossing, with the consequent calculation of the total losses depending on the path of the piping and of the various plant components, all custom designed according to the sizes permitted by the manufacturing context.
The carbon activated was sized by considering the appropriate air/carbon contact times so as to better exploit as much as possible the adsorption function.
